Solar Air - FlightGear Virtual Airline

Postby Domee » Thu Jan 28, 2021 9:52 am

We are a group of pilots wanting to share our flights and talk about all things aviation.

We are planning to host events every now and then. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, with little pressure and lots of support.

We also have a "co-pilot" search to fly with a friend.

You might get a few more participant if you also post events in the Multiplayer events subforum a couple of days before the events. ;)

That is a very, very old version of FlightGear.

Since the multiplayer protocol was made more efficient back 2017, you will not be able to see the other participants unless they have to selected to use the older protocol (Main Menu > Multiplayer Settings > Compatibility > Visible to all, default is Visible only to 2017+).

it should be noted that the older MP protocol will also be removed from future versions of FG... it is highly recommended that if someone is running a version of FG that is older than two years, they should upgrade to the latest release version...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Hi, I am using the Flightgear's 2020.3.17 version and is interested to join the virtual airline. Can I apply for it?
