Charter Aviation is now FGFlightLog!

Postby ePilot » Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:46 am

FGFlightLog is proud to announce the merger of CharterVA and Clone Air World. We are now FGFlightLog.org! Your personal online Flight Sim Logbook.

Visit our new websites at FlightSimLog.org and FGFlightLog.org! Current CharterVA and Clone Air World accounts need only to reset your password to login and begin using the new improved site. All past flights are still recorded in your logbook. (You can access our new site through our old address too - charterva.com)

We have retained our primary philosophy of Any plane, Any route, Anytime! and have expanded on that to include Any Callsign! Register (or change to) your favorite fg callsign and use FGFlightLog as your Personal Flight Sim Logbook. Change your callsign any time you wish! A completely new ACARS system is also available to make recording your flights with FGFlightLog simple and easy. We are on irc at #FGFlightLog and we all look forward to seeing you there.

Join us for our weekly FGWorldTour group flights too. Hope to see you soon!

That is a very, very old version of FlightGear.

Since the multiplayer protocol was made more efficient back 2017, you will not be able to see the other participants unless they have to selected to use the older protocol (Main Menu > Multiplayer Settings > Compatibility > Visible to all, default is Visible only to 2017+).
Low-level flying — It's all fun and games till someone looses an engine. (Paraphrased from a YouTube video)
Improving the Dassault Mirage F1 (Wiki, Forum, GitLab. Work in slow progress)

it should be noted that the older MP protocol will also be removed from future versions of FG... it is highly recommended that if someone is running a version of FG that is older than two years, they should upgrade to the latest release version...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
