How do I install the custom ACARS system on my MacOS?

+1 , i would also like to know how to install the ACARS system on Mac, as far as I'm aware, i don't think its listed as compatible on charter VA's website.

I regularly do short haul flights so this would make things a bit more efficient

I'm not entirely sure, but in the newest versions of FGFS, there is an addons page where you can locate your addon as a folder, and select it, so that every time you fly, it should technically run the ACARS... at least that's what I think.. btw, there is a whole list of addons for FGFS... I use a landing rate calculator and what not...

It depends on how old the ACARS add-on is. The current framework is more user friendly than before, but have only been around since 2017.
