Postby Bulldog 1 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 12:54 pm

Hello. I created a virtual airline
It's an West Europe Virtual Airline
The only plane we flight is the a318Family from @iT0uchpods *Also the 757-200, that it just joined*
Our Main airport is LEBZ, Spain
If you want to join, send a reply, I will upload to mega the livery (The livery will replace the White livery)
Thanks

Hi Bulldog
I'm interesting to join to any Spanish VA, but I fly with B772, B773, CRJ7 and the B752. I can to make raster liveries for this models.
My hub is Barcelona LEBL. Have you a website?

Thanks a lot!

We don't actually have an A318 right now. It's coming soon ;)

Doesn't matter, this, like most VAs, is dead.

Some are not ... Without wanting to stress competition to bulldog's VA (which I haven't really identified yet), I want to hint to St. Paul's which is quite lively. Though as far as I know I am the only FG pilot there and some details are not yet functional for FG, it is worthwhile to look into it and give it a try.

Maybe other pilots might show links to their VAs that might be full of life?

Hi Oswald,
I have taken a look at the SPA website and I see that it seems to have a CARS system for Flightgear. As a pilot of this airline, can you confirm it? On the other hand, in the poll about sims that they do does not appear Flightgear ...
Maybe what we need in a virtual airline that flies (at least mostly) within the FG world. Why not open a thread to create them together?

Hello CAT0076,
as far as I can see there are some VAs within the FG world, I don't know, how active they are. My problem with those is that they only fly medium and big jets on IFR routes while my favourite flying is small aircraft, VFR, small airfields, something like "bush flying". SPA over the years has developed plenty of routes all over the world, including "bush flights", heli trips, charter flights (very interesting appears to be the Hawaii route, haven't tried it yet), right up to short, medium and long range scheduled flights. There is a training centre where I have learned a lot about IFR flying (and use it currently with short and medium range flights with Bombardier Q400), but mostly I fly short routes with a twin (Cessna 337).
There is an ACARS system for Flightgear which works fine including automatic PIREPS. Three issues are not yet functional:
    - Econ mode (if you fly well, you earn virtual money, if you don't, you loose money), this is planned by the webmaster.
    - Adventure packs (these appear to be very interesting, but they would have to be completely rebuilt in FG with custom scenery)
    - flying together as FG pilot in multiplayer sessions with the others
I look forward to the Econ mode, but do not miss the other options

The SPA team is friendly and welcoming and there is no problem to just try.

Thanks for your information Oswald
For me, the last issue is the most important. Maybe try how it works

@Clive2670 @CAT0076

This project is permanently cancelled, because of FG optimization is bad
