:? I'm stumped. The bomb release nasal is not working, and I've already got a lot of time into just making the weapon's submodels animation appear.

I've got other more pressing things to fix.

What's the problem? Or rather ask the programmer's way: What does it do and what is it supposed to do instead? A plane with the source code could also help to find the problem.

Cool!
I assume you'd like these in FGMEMBERS (that is updated)

Thanks Lesbof! :D

Yes, He PMed before telling me these were coming. There is not point for Lester to have people getting outdated material in FGMEMBERS.

Do you want to update all these?
Some are GPL others nonGPL
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

Well, why not? :D
Might as well learn how to do it!
I thought you had to clone outside of fgdata but I tried the 717 and it worked as a submodule! :D so basically a submodule is a repo inside a repo?

yes, It does work like that. a submodule is just a repo within a repo!

But then you will get fun stuff when you try updating the superrepository, because you will have new commits in certain aircraft.

git submodule update will bring you back down to the previous stored position in the superrepo! :)

I recommend the following

1 unzip outside
2. delete all the content within the repo
3. copy the unzipped content inside the repo
4. add, commit, push.

Simple as that! :D

Lego did an excellent job of populating Habsheim with buildings and such.

On further reflection I think this is better discussed in the Aircraft forum, What seems to be the issue is that I'm trying to bodge Detlef's nasal script for the weapons on the Bristol Beaufighter. It has 8 rockets and a single torpedo, the rockets would be nice to port over for LePrier rockets for the Nieuports 10-11-17 and Spads.

The bombs we can use now.

What I would like is a way to select a 'master arm', (so far working..) and have the choice of either a salvo release, all at once, or sequentially. I can get the bomb's submodels to fall using the properties browser but the static models remain, as do their weights, after the submodels fall away.

At any rate I'm not seeing this being ready by tomorrow for the sortie. :?

P.S. Also note: The extra weight of a full load of bombs, with two well fed French pilots, and a full load of fuel just about limits the 80 h.p. Shorthorn to climbing at about 200 fpm at 53 knots.

If they hit the ground and make smoke, that might work...
Thats ok though.
