If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

Thanks to IH-COL for the idea and all the hard work managing the flights. 8)

:o
Sure!

It has been my pleasure to see you guys doing a great job.

I agree that most JAFVA pilots had got to try beyond their comfort zone, and zone find this less appealing than others :P

For me there are many many really cool things about JAFVA. The top most have seen pilots improvement while being part of the group.
(you were great start on, but got to practice hard stuff like DME arcs and alike), others have been learning from proper piloting, reading charts, follow proccedures, so on. I would be proud but certain to announce that being part of JAFVA has been a growing experience in their sim-piloting. A true Pilot Career Simulation. :P

but let me try to "avoid your loosing and my loosing" some time here

I told you yesterday 3 times on mumble, that a divert is not welcomed.
I understand it was late for us and you were preparing to sleep.

Solution is simple.

PLEASE depart again from Camarillo and procceed to a complete flight

And don't think is unfair. Others had to repeat flights in words situations that this before, such as terrasync not loading in 5+hours flight durations, so your defiance of not repeating flights that are required WILL NOT be tolerated anymore.

@Definee: I'd suggest putting all the fuel in the main tanks and leave all the crossfeeds with the line running horizontal. You'll need 6000kg per hour, plus some spare. 56,000kg should do it but get it in the main tanks if you can.

Don't try and get up to FL400 straight away. It won't do it, especially at 0.83Ma. Try and keep the N1 gauge (the top one for each engine) just below the yellow. Probably FL300 to start with, climbing at 270kts IAS and settle out at 0.75-0.80Ma. Then after an hour go up to FL320, see how the engines go and whether you can go to 0.81Ma. After another hour, up to FL340 and so on. So you will be five hours into the flight before you get to FL400.

Don't forget the anti-ice: four on the engineers panel, five on the pilot overhead and two on the copilot overhead. If you want to be really good about it, watch the temperature on the copilot side instruments and turn then on below 0*C and off again as you descend and warm up again.

And don't open the windows by accident. It's easily done if you are clicking around ;)

@Definee: Did you get this message: "WINGS - ICE ALERT: Switch on the WING ANTI-ICE System"

And where did you get your 707 from?
