Real Concorde afterburners :

I stand corrected - good work!

(You still might want to turn down brightness a tad - it looks okay in comparison with the photo, but nighttime pictures are often done with very sensitive CCD settings and /or fairly long exposure times and tend to show brighter than the eye usually perceives things).

Hi,

I downloaded from the above link, but I'm not seeing the same cockpit as in the images. Some indicators are "flat" with no text and just black.

Am I required to use a version higher than 2017.2.1, and is there a way I can check if the installation of the aircraft is correct?

(I used the green "clone or download" option and chose "download zip". I unzipped it into the "Aircraft" folder and got rid of "-master" in the folder name.)

What OS and what folder are you putting this in? Are you sure your "launcher" is pointing to that folder?

Lydiot :
Picture please...
2017.2.1. should be OK, but I am not absolutly sure.

EDIT :
You need ALS renderer and enabled Atmosferic light scattering in the Rendering options.

Thanks for the reply. ALS is always on on my system.

I'll post a picture later, but basically I can't see any text at all on some of the buttons.

It sounds a bit like one of my issues with ALS and Intel. If you have Intel, that's probably why. If not, you possibly need a newer version of FlightGear?
Thanks

My current machine is an old AMD cpu with NVidia card. Some advanced models like the 707 shows up and functions fine.

Okay. That should work.
It may be that the effects used by V12 are not compatiable with pre 2017.3 versions, otherwise, no idea.

I need screenshots. On old nVidia 750 GTX and AMD FirePro is all OK. I'm using 3 standard ALS spotlights used on many other models. It should not be a problem. But I don't know how are that spotlights are supported in 2017.2.1.

They are - they're fairly old technology.

Can You see some like this ?

Image

If YES, then You have trouble with shader settings in the Rendering options. Set all parameters to maximum.

Yes, that's pretty much what it looks like.

In "View", "Rendering Options", "Shader Effects" I already have all maxxed out. Every single one. ALS is on.

Hmmm, it looks like graphics driver related problem. When You switch to model view or external view, can You see environmental reflections on the fuselage ?

Not sure how detailed the reflections are that you see, but I basically see a change in 'reflection' as I change the weather conditions. If I set them to cloudy then the fuselage is dark and if it's clear weather then I get the shinier metallic reflection. As I pan around it looks as if I'm getting reflections of clouds, but of course they're not super-defined.

So external view seems fine to me.
