Modelling the S-TEC55x.

Split off from IDG PA28 model issue and S-TEC55X autopilot.

Quick off topic question to Octal450, has no one modeled the case for the S-TEC55x yet? That is the first time I saw what it actually looked like and that is exactly what I am looking for. I don't want to waist my time modeling it if there is already an existing model. #ReadTheManual

Reason: Split off from IDG PA28 model issue and S-TEC55X autopilot. (Split was done by Bugman.)

@wlbragg,
What are you talking about? the IDG-PA28 and your own J3 Cub somewhere has the head unit modelled....

Correct, I saw the actual autopilot "case" in the PDF you linked to and wondered if anyone has modeled that mesh yet? I know the GUI has a representation for it but not an actual mesh model for in the cockpit. It looks simple enough I was thinking of modeling it if no one has made one yet.

I do not know what do you mean "case". There is a 3D mesh of the unit in cockpits.

Irregardless - if you want to improve the 3D model of it as its a bit rough or model these 2 beautiful things:

I would appreciate that!

Dear wayne, that is what I am talking about too ;)

You even placed it in your Cub at some point - as you sent me a screenshot a while back of it.

But its a bit rough so I'd apprecaite any improvementations!

Ok, I didn't recall seeing that "modle", the actual mesh.ac that looks like the box in the manual. I really like the looks of it, simple small and clean profile.

I'll see what I can do.
