It would be nice if someone could add glass effect to this aircraft like rain, frost and fogging...

Hi OE-PH1
Not a Problem:
https://github.com/FGMEMBERS/A330-200/commit/f3803297c52d9df257cc0361581e8c7fa023aa7a

Looks great!

Also, remember you are welcome to fork the repo and send us pull request with liveries or any other improvement too :)
So you can author the changes yourself.

We will even gladly join you to the FGMEMBERS team

Best,
IH-COL
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

From what I see, it's a dummy value that does not affect performance.

By the way I think I figures out OP DESCENT- AND DESCENT - they mantain your airspeed with pitch so if you select 300 you descend fast if you select 120 you climb ;)
Is that right?

dtlan201 wrote in Fri Jul 17, 2015 2:10 pm:So it still get several problems with decend phase, when I engage v/s mode it doesn't decend faster than 200ft/mins if higher than that a yellow box will appear on the PFD and it seems to be https://github.com/artix75/A330-200/commit/4fde8c3f49c203e91e9a5858b61b70535939c0f6 v/s aleart box, I dont't know why it blocks me. Another issue is when I select OP DES , the a/c climbs instead of decend .Is there anyway to solve these problems?

In managed or open descend it should not climb to reduce speed, the worst you can get is a level off and "DRAG REQUIRED" message on the PFD. Pitch up will be used as overspeed protection.

New PFD version which will show "---- NM" instead of 0.0 NM if there's no DME on the ILS. A small cosmetic addition to bring it closer to the real PFD.

The I never actually tested op des at 120kts.but cost index is basically do you care about fuel or time? High is time low is fuel. And then the computer chooses performance to match.
Am i right

CI high == faster flight/more fuel burnt
CI low == slower flight/less fuel burned

Recommended CI in many A320 operators is 35

But again, this is a dummy value on this bus.

Ok, this is how I deal with V/s alert system
Change
Code: Select all
-                        elsif(trgt_vs < -200 and me.vmax and me.ias >= me.vmax){
                             ver_alert = 1;
-                            trgt_vs = -200;
in fmgc_loop.nas to
Code: Select all
+                        elsif(trgt_vs < -2500 and me.vmax and me.ias >= me.vmax){
                             ver_alert = 1;
+                            trgt_vs = -2500;
