Discussion of aircraft textures and liveries

Hi,

Thanks for the detailed report! I was able to trace the issues now. For some reason only alliance liveries and aircraft with authors assigned to them (no idea why I implemented that) were shown :-)
Should be fixed now. Please let me know if you spot any remaining issues.

On this list http://liveries.flightgear.org/aircraft.php for the Cessna 172 five liveries are listed.

On the Cessna 172's page only three are shown: http://liveries.flightgear.org/aircraft.php?id=70

One of the missing ones is D-ECJB (Matthias Rust's flight).

And while you're at it, could you remove the website-link there: http://liveries.flightgear.org/authors.php?id=116
It's very old and now redirects to some commercial site. Tanks!

Good catch! Liveries that do not belong to any airline were accidentally hidden.
Should be fixed now and I've removed the link from your page ;-)

Thanks!

Haha, I wrote "Tanks!", that's not what I meant, of course.

Ok, liveries seem to work now perfectly. Stumbled on one more thingy on http://liveries.flightgear.org/liveries.php
Dunno how to explain it properly but somehow, when altering one of the three select-feature-thingies (Limit, Display, Page), the resulting link always shows "?limit=50". But in no case more than 25 are displayed in the list.
Link e.g. http://liveries.flightgear.org/liveries.php?limit=50&display=1&page=6

Though this could just be my browser, it's not up-to-date.

Hello,
I wanted to post the livery at http://liveries.flightgear.org/contribute.php, but it said that "The livery database does not accept new contributions at the moment. Feel free to share your liveries at the FlightGear forum."
Could you fix this somehow?

Thanks in advance

please be more descriptive than "just goes haywire"...
what is the link google attempts to send you to?
what is the link that you end up on?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

It works here, http only so if you're browser is set to https only mode you might get a warning.

AFAICT, http://liveries.flightgear.org/ still works without any redirection...

https://liveries.flightgear.org/ seems to serve the forum's homepage and tls certificate... there is no redirect here.

Some browsers might try to be safe and add the S back in if that has "worked" before. (This is, generally, a good security practice.) Try clicking on the link wkitty sent maybe?
There are free alternatives to (almost) every program you encounter. You just have to find them.
