Show new and/or finished liveries here

Postby KhalidHalimFG » Tue Jul 17, 2018 4:38 pm

Put new liveries here. Make sure you put important information. Also include IATA, ICAO or both. And aircraft type, airline name, new or old livery, etc..

Feel free to put any livery for any passengers or cargo aircraft.

Edit 1: Remind to put a link if anyone wants to download a livery, and put your FG version, I am now on 2018.2.2

Edit 2: Open to reply, but nice to need notes about this.

Edit 3: If you can't find ICAO or IATA, then at least registration code.

Edit 4: More than 70 views, but what does replies do? Show it even if 1 livery here.

I think most people use the FLightGear livery database for that:

not only that but there are already plenty of topics where folks are posting links to their livery photos... why start another?
just scroll through all the posts right here in Board index ‹ FlightGear ‹ Development ‹ Aircraft ‹ Liveries where this very topic is posted...

i won't mention the slight confusion and "what is this guy doing?" with these single line posts and seemingly talking to themselves...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I know, just in case if any to-do will be shown and in case if livery is available or not, as not all liveries are for the same aircraft, @wkitty42.

Edit 1: And also to check between the real one and the updated one, and any improvements, etc.

Edit 2: @erik, I know, just to check for anything new or to-do, improve and so on.

Edit 3: Let's see.

This sounds more like a sort of "What/Where did you fly today?" topic under Media, but specific for liveries.
Maybe the moderators should move it over there?

without a clear and specific explanation from the OP, it is anyone's guess...

on another forum that i moderate and admin, by now someone would have suggested that it is a form of postcnt++

@Eirk, Then where I move it then if moderators needed?

@Wki, I need to check progress to avoid incorrect liveries in a plane and/or right liveries in a wrong plane.

Anything other than that? Tell me.

Edit: And any WIP liveries know me it, anything to tell me, you're welcome, I'll know it.

@KhalidHalimFG: you don't move the topic... the moderators will if they feel a need to... the links will be updated automatically...

as for checking incorrect liveries, the developers of the models generally handle all of that themselves when they are building the craft... some liveries are accurate to real life, others are historical and then some are fictitious... some craft maintainers may ask for someone skilled in textures to help them creating and maintaining liveries for the craft they are working on... if you are looking to advertise your texture skills, you could just start posting some images of your work in one or two of the existing topics...
