N757AF (Trump's 757)

Postby airzona » Thu Nov 19, 2015 2:35 pm

This is my first (official) livery! I've made other liveries for personal use, but not based on actual aircraft.

*Queue Robin Leach* :D

Now you, too, can fly like a billionaire in Trump's 757! Jet-set anywhere in the world with luxury after installing the Trump N757AF livery. This livery is for the current 757-200 (Rolls Royce) aircraft model available for FlightGear.

The real-life N757AF is a Boeing 757-2J4ER, not a 757-200, but as this is the only 757 model available in FlightGear it was the closest match. The only noticeable difference is the 757-2J4ER has winglets whereas the 757-200 does not.

The livery is available now for download via GitHub and has been submitted to the FG livery database (awaiting approval).

And may you have cloudy wishes and jet engine dreams!

I used Photoshop, but you can use the GIMP as well. Inside your 757-200/Models directory is the file called paintkit.xcf. It is a GIMP file for the livery that came with the aircraft. That's a great place to start.

All the best and I can't wait to see your RNZAF! :)

Thank you very much!

And It is very simple just add this line to the xml file:

Code: Select all
<winglets type="bool">true</winglets>

And please update your PNG too, to adopt and draw the winglets.
