Liveries for the 737-300

Postby ja sam niko » Fri May 23, 2014 12:44 pm

Hi everyone.

I would like to make a livery of the Aviolet, the new charter airline in Serbia. Founded by Air Serbia,it will start flying tomorrow with the first flight to Antalya .

What I want to know is,could the livery be accepted at the official repo, since the airline is not fully operational yet?

Here is the article about it...I was really trying to find anything in English but.,. since the whole thing is just started ,there isn't any.

Cheers

A nice livery to begin.
About the question, it should be OK because the aircraft exists.
Remember, the aircraft MUST exist, and that's the case because you have pictures of it, never mind if it operates or not.
I recently submitted the Asiana A380 : not in operation yet, but the aircraft (exterior) is finished. (However I think, I hope, it will be rejected because I just saw that I posted an older zip package... )
Anyway happy creating !

OK ,there has been some progress on the livery.

I went through the livery many times but...still no idea how to fix it.

You need to hide the green outline guide layer in the paint kit before you save the final image.

Thumbnail must be 350*250 pixels. Your thumbnail was 350*243 pixels.

I can try all and everything, but it will never get that size, simply because my idiotic Windows can't save it as 350x250......

Can anyone help me out with that?

Found some way to resize the thumbnail and the livery is sent.

Thanks again everyone.

Before you sent it to the database the doors should be fixed as they are in the wrong place. Why have you used those doors and not the ones in the paintkit that are in the correct position?

That's not my fault. The paintkit is made like that.

I will gladly send to you the xcf file of the livery,if you think that could be fixed.

The paintkit is fine I've just double checked it, you may have corrupted your version somehow.
Try downloading the paintkit again then copy just the logos you have created onto a new layer and see if that solves the problem.
Paintkit download is here http://liveries.flightgear.org/download/paintkits/5.zip

Yeah right,my fault.

In your dreams maybe. I spent the whole day working on it,step by step ,to avoid making any mistake or to corrupt the paintkit, which is the one from the livery database.

I will try agian, but if the doors are the same, you will owe me an apology.

Everybody makes mistakes, even more so when trying something new, that's how we learn.

There's 66 Boeing 737-300 liveries in the database the majority created with the paintkits so if there was a problem with them we would have heard about it before now.

The actual livery looks good so don't give up on it just because of one little problem that can easily be fixed.
