Hey,
well...i dont know if there is a cowling livery for 787, if there is u should add it there, and if there isnt, u should do texture mapping on the engine. I think 787.rgb is for the lighting and common stuff, while 787co.rgb is for the continentel livery.

Hope this helps!!!

BTW: You r frm singapore rite? Do u know Hindi?

Salams,
Cowling means engine.....
Texture mapping is assigning a certain part of an rgb to a certain part in the model, Thats how we can tell the modell were to look for the tail part of the livery.

Kuch Samajh mein aaya ki nahe? Thoda jaldi mein hoon isliye detail mein explain nahi kiya, Samajh aaya to theek warna mein phir se explain karunga.....

and
4)If i succeed in the above, how do i package the livery (As in SQ livery rather den as ANA livery).....

Hi,
well that is hindi...and u gt it rite xsaint(the part u understood)

Well texture mapping is different in different modellin softwares, so i need to know which one u use....

Create an rgb with the logo, and in ur modelling software select the engines and texture map them to the logo.....

If u create a new rgb its sure that it wont touch any other part of the aircraft except the part u mapped it to...

what program are you using to place the textures on the model?

It looks like you have accidentally revesed the face so that the correct face is on the inside.
try reversing th faces that are missing.

Thanks for the answer......

I used GIMP to edit....
What does reversing the faces means? I did not reverse anything i guess (or my lack of knowledge)...i just edited existing rgb files...
