Here we go with another bunch of liveries.

I've contacted El Flauta, who provided the missionator graphic, about releasing his work. When I have a response I will put up for download all four liveries.

Is there a way to commit to git my work?

I allready made a Swiss Air Force and US Airways livery for the B1900D (but didn't release)...
I also have a Algerian Air Force and a Pet Airway livery.

Your liveries will not work with my b1900d version as I remapped almost the entire aircraft in order to achieve a better effects with surface details.

Awesome work!

To get the bumpmap in GIt, please contact the B1900D author: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=23
Your liveries can be send to http://liveries.flightgear.org/contribute.php (usually we commit only about 2 or 3 liveries to the base (Git thus) of an aircraft; ask Syd about that and upload the rest at the link I provided).

Are an estimated time to see the changes in the Git's B1900D?

The aircraft really looks good... it deserved it, it's a very good FG plane.

I've sent a PM some days ago to syd_cyyf (as suggested by Gijs), but I dind't get a response as of now.

If you want the last four liveries shown some posts above, you can download them here (excuse me for the delay):
- b1900d - flightgear livery database.

Just extract the zip content to the Aircraft/b1900d/Models folder. A big thank you goes to El Flauta who provided the missionator graphics!

Almost two months are passed from when I sent a pm to syd_cyyf about my modifications to the b1900d aircraft and I havn't received a response yet. His last login to this board dates back to Jan 2011. How can I include my changes to the aircraft in git so that it is available to anyone? is it possible to do that without the explicit permission of syd_cyyf? I don't know how to unlock the situation. Thanks for any advice.

I don't think Syd comes on the forums much anymore...But he does reply fairly quickly to my e-mails about the Twotter. 8)

I've got a reply by syd through the email. He gave me his permission to add to git my modification with a pending doubt about the possibility that rivets are overdone.
Here is the reply:

I looked at the forum screenshots , looks like you did an excellent
job ! Yes I,d like to see it in git , although like another posted on
the forum , hopefully it doesnt have exaggerated rivets and panel
lines. I look forward to seeing it for myself.
Thanks Cristian.

So what's the next step?

I'll commit it if you send me your latest&greatest version ;)
Or, if you know how to, or have some time to learn, create a merge request at Gitorious (as explained at the wiki).

The files are linkend at the end of this post (I've not made further changes): http://www.flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10105&start=30#p116921
In the first file there all 10 liveries (probably too much for git). If I had to pick one I will go with the swiss army livery.

If you can do it for me that would be great!

This time I've not enough time to learn how to but I promise that the next time I will try this way.

Let me know when the rempapped aircraft is available in git so that I will send the template and the others liveries to the livery database.

Those that use Git can get the new template via a git pull. Liveries and paintkit will be up at the livery database soon.

I haven't been following this thread, but I wish I did, because I pulled the latest Git today and the 1900D looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! :D I wish I knew how to do this.

Thanks skyop!

I have done two more liveries:

Image
NORTHERN THUNDERBIRD b1900d - flightgear di Cristian Marchi, su Flickr

Image
INTERNATIONAL COMITE' RED CROSS b1900d - flightgear di Cristian Marchi, su Flickr

With the Northern Thunderbird Air one, I've redone all the liveries that were shipped with the previous version of the b1900d.

These liveries are available through the flightgear livery database.
