Very new guy, wheres "Menu"?  Topic is solved

Need help getting up and running? Installing FlightGear, add-on planes, sceneries etc.

HI new guy here win 10
browser is Firefox (latest build)
I just installed Flight Gear 2020.3
& am using a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick (no force feedback)
I nee to install it so the buttons will work, the actual stick is working, but being the FNG Wheres the "Menu" in Flightgear so I can do this?
Apologies for the basic question.

Never mind I found it.
(I didn't realize you had to be in the simulation for the menu ribbon to appear.)

For anyone else looking for the main menu in FlightGear, sometimes it is hidden but can be brought back by pressing F10.

yep, F10 when in-sim toggles the menu bar at the top... if you exit the sim with the menu bar enabled, it will be there when you reload... if you exit with it toggled off, it won't be visible when you load the sim the next time...

there's also a switch/property to enable auto-hiding/showing of the menubar by hovering the mouse over the top of the window accordingly
