Automatic Scenery Download just wont work

Does any one know how to fix Terrasync? I just cannot get it to work.

OS : Windows 10
Flightgear : 2020.3.8
Graphics Card : NVidia GT 710

You need to be a bit more specific than that. Like: what did you do, what did you expect, what do you see instead. Oh, and as always: log files!

These are the errors i keep getting when starting Flightgear. As you can see i select Automatic downloads but Flightgear has trouble finding where to download the data.

Okay thanks, that's the perfect info. Looks like you set up fgfs correctly. I suppose you don't have any internet connection problems and can connect to all other hosts normally?

I will raise this issue with the developers on the mailing list and/or create a ticket. This looks like a bug and there is likely nothing you can do at the moment...

My internet connection seems fine. I never have any trouble with it. I checked my firewall settings and Flightgear is among the apps which are allowed through so it must be a bug of some sort.

This is pretty sure a problem with your ISP. Can you please start a console.

If you don't your ISP isn't allowing NAPTR then you would have to change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9

That was what the problem was. I changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9 and it is working fine now.
