adding scenarios?

Postby [Lemmy] » Sun Mar 03, 2019 10:18 am

Hi,

I want to use the Pinzgauer.xml from http://wiki.flightgear.org/Pinzgauer_Spaziergang but I can't seem to find preferenmces.xml, where do I put the settings to enable the scenario?

Running on openSUSE Leap 15.0 using the rpm from the opensuse build service, games repository.

Any hits?

Cheers

preferences.xml is now defaults.xml... you should not edit it... instead use --config=path/to/blahblah.xml and see if that works for you... you can add it to the command line or you can maybe use it in the launcher's additional settings box...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

Save that scenario file to the root of fgdata/AI and launch the sim at LOWZ. When you are in the sim you can activate the scenario under AI menu. Shouldn't be a need to add any commands anywhere if you don't want to.
