FG unable to access home directory

Postby zhanglini » Mon Nov 13, 2017 1:58 pm

Hey I just upgrade my PC from 17.04 Ubuntu Mate to 17.10 (two partitions: /home and /, the /home is untouched by the upgrade process ), so I had to reinstall flightgear. Somehow the new FG can't seem to access my ~/.fgfs folder, so I can't load plane/scenery etc from my /home folder. Is there any setting I am missing???
Thanks in adv

likely not FG settings related... more likely permissions but if the user is the same and has the same UID and GID numbers as before, it should work...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
