Error when opening

Need help getting up and running? Installing FlightGear, add-on planes, sceneries etc.
Forum rules
In order to help you, we need to know a lot of information. Make sure to include answers to at least the following questions in your initial post.

- what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running?
- what FlightGear version do you use?
- what graphics card do you have?

Error when opening

I run Windows 10 home on an Alienware 17 R3 and graphics amplifier with a Nvidia 1070 graphics card I Downloaded FlightGear but cant run it get error --console ignore because stdout or stderr redirected with or 2> I have a screen shot but not sure if I can upload it here

How do you try to start FlightGear?
Kansas and Ohio/Midwest scenery development.

Do you get error messages if you run it from cmd or the powershell? These can be captured (redirected) into a text file and posted here.

How to share screenshots is explained in this topic (under "Posting screenshots on this forum"). That'll certainly clarify the problem to us :-)

reinstalled and it works now not sure what happened but, thanks for the help will keep these suggestions on hand for any further refferance it may be this computer I have a new one on order so will see if helps
