Flightgear error (read bellow)

Need help getting up and running? Installing FlightGear, add-on planes, sceneries etc.

FATAL EXCEPTION

Sqlite error:attempt to write a readonly database
recived from INSERT OR REPLACE INTO stat_cache (path, stamp) VALUES (?,?)

This is what appear while i'm starting flightgear

NEED HELP PLS

You are clearly using an old FlightGear version! The solution is implied by that last sentence ;)

I will guess that you are using MS Windows, as this was a Windows specific error due to a stale PID file that was fixed quite a few versions of FlightGear ago. Could it be that you have multiple versions of FlightGear installed at the same time? Could you look in C:\Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Roaming\flightgear.org and see if there is a fgfs.pid file present?

It only appears a fgfs.log, not a .pid

if there's no PID file, make sure you do not have FG running and then delete the navcache file in that directory... if you had a crash, it is possible that the navcache was left in an intermediate state... deleting the navcache will allow FG to rebuild it on the next startup...

NOTE: this is probably the only time that the navcache should be deleted...
