(SOLVED) How do I install this effect?

Okay, so I was browsing videos about FlightGear, and I came across this video where somebody used a video overlay of snow in FG to make it look more realistic. I have posted the video and download link below, but my question is how do I install this video overlay in FlightGear? If anybody knows, please post your answer in the comments below. Thanks,

As you said, it's a video overlay. You can record a video and then apply that effect in a video editing program. You can't apply it directly to FG and see it in real time.

Oh, I understand now! For some reason at first I thought that it applied the video overlay in the sim. LOL Thanks!
