FGRUN 0xc000007b

Postby Octal450 » Tue Mar 15, 2016 11:30 pm

I would like to use FlightGear on my second PC.

I am on FlightGear 2016.1 and I would like to use FGRUN. On my main Vista PC, it works fine, but on this Windows 7 PC, I get this error:

I did try to run the FGRUN in /bin/fgrun.exe and I get this error:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Any help?

I am not on Windows, but isn't this error occurring because you are trying to execute a 64-bit binary in a 32-bit OS?

That's what I gathered from some googling too.

It's an error when doing 32 bit binaries on 64 bit machines. Its not FG related, I'd recommend googling it.

I had the same this week with a new build of terragear. It was a confusion between libraries (dll files ) that are used. You may be able to cure it by re-arranging the order of the directories in the windows Path . Not easy I´m afraid.
