Hey that's cool,
I've asked the developer (Martien van der P.) if he can make a github repository for the aircraft. I'll continue working on the cockpit.
This will turn out great :D

Yeah it needs a lot of 3D reworking as it appears the DC4 model is just the DC6 with some resizing and a new texture. What I've patched together is a half decent Yasim fdm that can take off with a simulated 8 tons of coal, the engines consume the correct amount of fuel and it's not so touchy in pitch. It's a little under powered according to some sources on what the Berlin Airlift era C-54 could break ground with carrying cargo.

Maybe it is time to open a discussion thread in the aircraft development subforum?
