The 'old' T6 is a fighter trainer, just cane it with the supercharger.

thanks for organising again Ysop, here's the only pic I managed to get...

Also nice to finally meet polly in the virtual skies (sort of) - did you get that old crate of a T6 off the ground?

[Edit] no offence to the designers intended - after trying things out for a while I think my joystick somehow put it into a thrust reverse mode (which I'm not sure should even be enabled?) and I've not fully got to grips with the settings so it's very likely pilot error - but the nose wheel steering remains a mystery....

Crate ? Shoe box ? VW Käfer ? Whatever ! I mean, it looks really nice - kudos to Erik for adding Compositor lights and that nice reflection, but the pitch axis needs to be redone, and the turning radius (on the ground !) is rather like that of a german coal mine excavator than that of a light, modern aircraft with nose wheel steering (believe it or not - it actually got a whopping … 5 degrees of nose wheel deflection to each side ! )

Thanks ! Yes, managed 240KIas too, thanks to the blower. Lurve that old crate !

Edit You know, maybe after all that PC-6 practice, I'm managing takeoff roll better. For me the secret is, very short twitches on the rudder to throw the nose into line rather than holding a steady rudder setting. It was noticeable on the Pilatus that holding a steady deflection tends to build yaw momentum.

Many thanks for organising ( hint the Brenner from Bolzano to Innsbruck is a great ride with lots of power lines ! )

see aircraft help. "m" activates NWS. /controls/gear/nose-wheel-steering just switches back to false. Might have a realistic reason. Too late to check.
Feel free to work though DSTO-TR-0479, at best including /2/ and /1/(?) from the reference list for cruising configuration data.

Does anyone know where those fliers were located about 94mi from the departure A/P ? I got a logfile flooded with TowerController messages that a runway wasn't cleared, I'd like to look into the cause.

Edit No matter, I can see the log messages just 'Sittin in a field in Texas' so I don't need another instance to look at the code.

Scotland part 3? It might be similar to part 2 though...

(Edit) Just had to mention I sometimes like flying the 747 8i in this post, nothing to do with GA Wednesday ...just because it's post number 747.

Scotland part 3 would be perfectly a fine.
Even with a starting point allowing to come in with a somewhat larger private jet.

I'll bring the C310 - I guess 180 knots are enough ?

May I propose including North Ronaldsay airport in the route ?

And I hate having to install something that isn't git clone'able ! ;)
