@Mariusz: yeah, I saw that too (although I had to go soon after because of three FG crashes in a row due to full RAM) - to be honest, I have absolutely no idea whatever GenApts did here ! :mrgreen:

Great scenery, you could tell the concentration levels by the lack of chat on this event. And, early on I lost an engine...

Some of the best inventions started with a bit of a mistake:

Why has nobody thought of vertical runways before? Safes so much space!
Additional idea: Runway at plusminus 45°, plaster it with solar cells and sell it as green.

We had a lot of fun in this scenery, so thanks a lot!
As we have not come around the last leg, we could make Papua IIIb next week.

A bit of outlook for the event in two weeks:
Formation flying in the T6IIa.
Recommended reading: https://www.cnatra.navy.mil/local/docs/pat-pubs/P-870.pdf.
You should know, what a cruise formation and a parade formation looks like.

Any ideas for a nice area with valleys and such?
