I fly into EDDF on the weekend when I can and always use Mumble, hate to see such a service go.
I would really like to see such a service up and running for a long time because I hate using my keyboard to communicate.
What is JOMO's plan in the future?

Yes, so my point. I'll set it up if people want. I have no problem with that.

Josh

I guess I'm wondering what the alternative is here. I don't see one anyway.
It would be nice if it was built into FG directly (PTT) but I don't think that's working.
So you have my vote Josh. Go for it and lets see what happens.

I refuse to use zenserv. They do not care about the users, and they have extremely strict ideas, and are very rude. (In my experience).

So, NEVER AGAIN! I refuse to use zenserv.

I have decided I will create the server, and it will be users choice whether or not to use it.
When it is set up (I will post), it will be "itpns.ddns.net" with port 64738 (default).

Kind Regards,
Josh

@josh

Then please tell me what they did, imo the zenserv server is perfectly fine to use, and has ATC channels for all airports. They also have a few "lounge" channels in different languages.

That is unimportant to discuss here. I do not want to create further wars.

alternatives?? oh geez...

discord, fgcom, teamspeak, etc, etc, etc...

fgcom is built into flightgear and i think it does PTT but since i don't MP, i haven't played with it...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

OK -- I setup a server with alot of the basic channels that are in allfex, several languages, some ATC rooms, and anyone can make their own ATC room.

As I said address: "itpns.ddns.net" with port 64738 (default).

It's there if you want to use it, I know already some ATCs and such will move over there.

Kind Regards,
Josh
