My bad - I misread your previous post and "switched" the locations for the two festivals in my mind. Indeed, it makes sense to host the fall Festival in Europe and the Spring one in South America.

@legoboydvlp: would you mind doing one of the OpenRadar files for SBRJ/SBGL (I'll do the other one)?

Yeah!
It's like two Fall Festivals like that, thou :P
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

Any chance a moderator can change the title to include May and not just Nov?
No big deal but I wouldn't want anyone to miss this because of the title..

That request was probably more selfish than anything. I'm afraid I would miss it! :)

Hi elegaton... just how do I find cords for taxiways? Do you recommend WED to find them?

@legoboyvdlp: if you need the coordinates to create the AI network, use VaLeo's script. If you need them for OpenRadar, you can hack the script a bit and make it output an OpenRadar XML file; however, I found this solution to be viable only if the taxiways are just a few. (Tried that to create the LEBL OpenRadar file, the taxiways were too many and were not listed in order, found it better to use WED and copy the coordinates by hand).

Ok. I will do it immediately, starting with SIDS which seem easiest to me after looking at LEBL if flightaware has charts for Rio.

Hi elegaton. I have all SIDS finished, including all curves and labels. I also have taxiway A done. But I will leave parkings until a groundnet is done.
Lego.
Do you want the OR file to check or do you want me to finish the STARS first? I used http://fsim.com.br/ceaero/ope/sbrj.pdf for reference.

The best of both worlds would be pushing them to a Gitorious repository (if you're familiar with Git). Could you tell me what your Gitorious username is? I guess putting all SIDs/STARs in the Git repository for the previous Festival would be the best solution.

(By the way, I remembered I didn't submit the OR files for LEBL as some STARs were missing and thought it would be better to complete them, didn't have time to do so unfortunately. I'm going to submit them in the next days).

I'm afraid I don't have Git. I do have an account, but I didn't download it, for I wasn't sure how to get an SSH key. Would you like me to try and get it? Started first two stars, and completed.
