Any idea what happened to the Mumble server?
I read in a different FG forum that Josh is no longer on FG, it would be nice if Josh would respond so we know where we stand.

Yes - at the moment we have/had problems as well with MUMBLE as with the MPmap!

mumble: "itpns.ddns.net port 64738" is not available any more. Starting today we will try to use the new:
Address: "flightgear-radio. autosoft.fr"
Port: " 64738"
You will have to re-certificate (mumble will request that at first use)!
Let's try that starting tonight.

MPmap: After 3 days of not functioning -> this Morning it works again.
e.g. my: http://mpmap02.flightgear.org/v3/?ll=50 ... uminimized
You also might investigate the new "https://mpmap03.flightgear.org/". Depending of what you look for you may prefer either one!

I hope to see you all again for a nice weekend.

Josh mentioned this new address " octal.ddns.net" but that doesn't work either.

I entered "flightgear-radio. autosoft.fr" but I don't have a connection, is it working on your end?

flightgear-radio. autosoft.fr

There is a minor typo in the above address, there should not be a space between radio. autosoft. Should be like this "flightgear-radio.autosoft.fr"

It works so will see how this works.

STARs + SIDs
VATSIM is doing a major reorganization in which all their charts are not available any more for NON-members. The new VATSIM-Regional organization does not even show EDDF as an airport in Germany - so I cannot anymore refer to VATSIM for our charts etc.

Does anybody know an address where we in future can get reasonable (no-cost) charts for SID/STAR ??
(I would prefer no-cost in order to enable beginners to use those SID/STARs)

VATSIM Germany provides charts for the German airspace: https://vatsim-germany.org/pilots/aerodromes, they're still available to non-members (except for VFR charts, for some reason). Here's EDDF: https://vatsim-germany.org/pilots/aerodromes/EDDF

Well - this new "https://vatsim-germany.org/pilots/aerodromes/EDDF" seems workable - and contains exactly the old VATSIM-data I am using in OpenRadar since June2019. I also updated my references to it on our Film-List: http://www.emmerich-j.de/EDDF/Films/films.html! See also the other references on that page above the film-tables.

thx a million to tdammers and also to all other trying to help.

I like the web site mentioned by tdammers. More detail and the maps are easier to read and very similar to what Iv'e been using for a while now. https://vatsim-germany.org/pilots/aerodromes/EDDF
What I also like is when you click on a SID it opens a new tab, there are lots of web sites that don't do this and the back button doesn't work. Dumb!!!!!!
I don't like to download if I don't know 100% this is what I'll be using for long term.
