Yes a big thank you to Foxtrot and Ysop from me as well. My main goal of testing mumble was achieved. Just don't tell anyone I crashed on final of the last landing ;)

Some news from me - I won't be able to participate in the next weeks, because my Mumble is broken (I hear everyone completely distorted, tried older versions already but to no avail) …

And we have a bird again !

It is a female chaffinch, whom I found on the way home from the airfield (EDRO) (oh, before I forget, @Mariusz, I have got some pics (also interior, but only through the canopy glass) of a DA40 and a video of it taking off - drop me a PM if you have any interest in them as reference material for your development !) - I was going through a small forest on the bike, and suddenly something flutters in front of me from the side, but really RIGHT ON MY TRACK (one could've thought he wanted to commit suicide ! ). Luckily I was able to stop 30 cm away from the bird - then it wanted to flee, but I was able to catch it. I then put him into a plastic container I m´had taken with me in case I found anything fragile, and drove home holding the container in one hand, and steering the bike with the other

He seems to have a concussion in the left wing, just like our sparrow once had - so hopefully it will heal by itself in the next 2-3 weeks, so that we can set him free again ! :D

Eagle, she well probably have a good rehab in your hands.
Sad to let her fly in a few weeks, but this is nature.

Anything for tonight?
If not I could pick some challenging approaches....

It was nice to see you joining the group. Welcome.

The scenery and route proposed by Chris was also very pleasant.
Shall we rename the event to "Foggy Mountains"? ( @ Niels).

Thanks to all for a nice company :)

As we like Alps and I am already used to seeing nothing outside we could to to LOWI and have a bit of fun there.
Idea is to come in in good or real weather and in a second time in less good weather to enjoy the circle to land to RWY08.

Sounds like a plan Niels, good suggestion. [Edit] can you pop it in the event thread (optional amusing information word or phrase)
