Corrected with missing models in their proper directory.

The Idea is also to have a whole self contained package scenario not suffering from WS2/3 evolutions.

Will leave the file there for a few more weeks.

Final version will have the explanations for each stage.

I don't think I'll be there the atc session in Glasgow on Wednesday :( I've pm'd to keep the appointment and fingers crossed Marcus (guest Atc) will be there to keep you all in line and informed. If you have questions ahead of that session please post here (before Tuesday) and I'll collate and pass them on.

Questions to Marcus:

1. does Approach Category A Aircraft's,
when inserted in between App Cat D Acft's
always use the same IF/FAF(FAP) for LOC/ILS approaches? (same distance/altitude)
I am wondering about how difference of speed/time impact horizontal separation if traffic become heavy.

We have to move the next Glasgow-ATC experience to the 22nd.

This leaves all options open for tomorrow!

Generally, I'll be happy to show you around the Grenoble area anytime. I've a nice and relaxed sightseeing route in mind and there is no further preparation required.

However, tomorrow I'll be out of the house and far away from any computer. But it can be done e.g. on Feb 15th if you like.

no worries about me,

I am happy to post-pone both.

I can suggest a VFR event in Norway where the goal is mostly to be able to fly "recognizing" the places.

My idea come from:
We always use GPS interactive maps to be able to say: there I am.

But when one have to plan his flight and then to fly it, he have to "recognize" where he is flying even without GPS maps tools. VFR is "visual" for some reason.

Of course, GPS maps tools are really useful but what if we try to fly once with what we "get" just to have a taste of what you should be able to expect in RL ?

I have prepared a trip out from a little nice airport and you follow the visual tracks !

When you recognize the VRP (Visual Routing Point) you can go to the next one.

Nice is to do the flight with someone on your side to co-pilot you !

Perhaps the good opportunity to have a FG session with your beloved one, or even to let her fly and do yourself the co-pilot ???

Plz let me know how this does trigger your interest.

Great suggestions Marcus and Whoosh, as far as I know, I won't be there this evening. English Marcus (our irl atc) has said he'll help with some prep for the 22nd which I will post here when it's ready. My thoughts for 22nd was to do about 30mins of ground training/practice to give everyone in the group a chance to try the comms without the added pressure of flying. After we've had a go we can try ot in the air. We should maximise on the time that Marcus (atc) can give us and drink his knowledge :D teaching will be more interesting for him as atc is the day job...

Mountains are never boring aren't they?

I've missed the last fun in the Alps, so I'll be in the area. We can make a quick plan then.

I am called to assist in an emergent issue and will not have to time to share that fun with you. :-(

Apologizes for possible failed expectations

Thank you MariusXC for the feed-back.
Really very much appreciated.

Apologizes for any inconveniences.

I had done a quick and fast correction. It was working for me and 1 other person.
I definitely have to look a bit more in deep in that.

Anyhow,
the goal is to provide a future version of this challenge with "optional" OpenStreet House Road and Line (for whom have powerful computers).

But This forced me to update lat/lon of some altiports that have to match for both who use and who not use OpenStreet House Street Map...
(This was simply not a concern in the first version I had done years ago).

As I write, several altiports are at proper lat/lon and it is possible to start / restart from there.

When that will be done,
I still will be packing a few slides / videos to explain to goal of each stages.

I will keep you up with this.

Thank you.
