So that's how Santa Claus brings presents to all the children on the world in one night… when you go at 4000 kts, that's not a problem !

Eagle, thanks for organizing the very nice trip down under! The trick was to fly inverted, than everything looked normal again!

 Did anyone see a single ostrich ? Maybe we couldn't see them - such powerful machines make a lot of noise …

In my opinion we should make an evening just with Cap 10B's (and C's) at a small airstrip - what do you think ? :)

small airstrip and everybody is showing a bit of aerobatic to the crowd?

I don't think we are good at that - but this is the fun!

That was me ! :) I'm quite happy to know that the smoke is actually visible over MP … was wondering for a long time if it were.

SCNR but i just have flown the route and extended it to Albury.
What a nice place to fly, the first leg's hills were beautiful. Following the river was not so easy because of all the trees, but manageable.
Finding the first airport was difficult, because my turnng point was the road; and that came out of the woods of a sudden.
Good that i was alone, short before the treshold I hit one of the trees and killed myself :) (i landed from the southeast because of (cross)wind)

The second leg was also nice and easier to find. Very cool narrow valley!
For landing i announced a touch and go, which suceeded, but was not that easy because of the short and narrow runway and the trees.

The last leg to albury was relaxing, and i activated the KAP140 to track a radial. Made radio comms to myself to practise. I arrived just at sunset after a light time of 1:16 :)

All the way was a lot misty, which gave the hills and mountains a nice mystic look.
Very nice route, Eagle, I enjoyed it!

Which route are you talking about ? :? I think you meant YBNR ! SCNR is in South America, if that airport exists at all.

Wait - you can really hit trees in the C182 ? I saw some code - you can't assume just because you are flying over forest and low enough that you hit a tree, for example if the user has set autogenerated vegetation to very low density !
