Glad you enjoyed it too!

If there are still questions about the operation of the Autopilot, I again recommended to read and play with the article: https://wiki.flightgear.org/Bendix/King ... _Autopilot
It has a walk-trough of the modes, so its some kind of tutorial (Example workflow) you can follow, describing the most things you need during normal flights; so basicly everything we did today :)

I also have a couple of trips in mind. 1. The Norway Way part 1. Or 2. Mystery Islands Tourist Tour. Destinations and airports revealed 10mins before takeoff for the second idea. Both events will be around 1 hr flying plus the stops. Both suitable for 182 or Dhc6 - short field challenges included :)
I might be open to persuasion to reveal the second trip itinerary if people are wanting to download scenery in advance...

I just got one shot. I missed the photo camera when the jet was in view, but he did some really close flybys to me - obviously i had no wake turbolence, otherwise it would have shaken me out of the sky :)

No need to reveal anything in advance - my interbet connection is fast enough to download the scenery on the fly ! The problems only start when I have to reposition myself using the Phi map, then it takes quite some time.

I'll bring either the DHC6 or the c182 to practice my new skills thanks to Beni for the last few weeks of instruction on the 182! ...I still bounce around on landing if I'm not really /really/ careful with the speed though...

For the KAP140 in the C182: Does "only activate with flaps retracted" mean, you cannot extent flaps with the AP running?

Mystery tour sounds great after all that information input!

I will try to attend, and then bring my beloved c182s. I really want to see the hobbs meter whoosh trough into the three hundreds soon!

Private session: For a repeat of the towing experiments .-)
It might also be possible, that the Autopilot might have problems dealing with the trim change.
As a consequence a good part of an ILS-approach needs to be flown manually (Yes, I like that! ILS is not about pressing buttons!)
