I have a question?
What happened to Mumble yesterday. I heard quite a bit about an IP address, and then everyone except one new pilot was gone.
As always, I have set fgcom.hallinger.org in Mumble.
Outside of this address I still have flightgear-radio.autosoft.fr.
Can someone tell me what happened yesterday?
Sorry for the confusions. We found out that probably a major DNS error was in the net somewhere yesterday, rendering the fgcom.hallinger.org adress unreachable for about half the pilots. After testing and fiddling around for some time we decided to revert to the "default" mumble fgfs server, so everyone can talk. Sorry you missed that, we tried to announce in insim chat and also per voice, but that could have been done more clearly, I agree.
The correct adress of the "standard" fgfs mumble server is not "autosoft", but "
radio-mumble.flightgear.fr", so you should update your bookmark in mumble.
(Adress moved a while ago).
Otherwise, If it works, I would still prefer the fgcom.hallinger.org test server, so everyone that likes can optionally also test the fgcom-mumble plugin.
