Nice flight again, today! We probably set a new pilot count highscore :D

We have arrived in Barra.
At first we are three

More and more are arriving.

I have a question?
What happened to Mumble yesterday. I heard quite a bit about an IP address, and then everyone except one new pilot was gone.
As always, I have set fgcom.hallinger.org in Mumble.
Outside of this address I still have flightgear-radio.autosoft.fr.

Can someone tell me what happened yesterday?

Sorry for the confusions. We found out that probably a major DNS error was in the net somewhere yesterday, rendering the fgcom.hallinger.org adress unreachable for about half the pilots. After testing and fiddling around for some time we decided to revert to the "default" mumble fgfs server, so everyone can talk. Sorry you missed that, we tried to announce in insim chat and also per voice, but that could have been done more clearly, I agree.

The correct adress of the "standard" fgfs mumble server is not "autosoft", but "radio-mumble.flightgear.fr", so you should update your bookmark in mumble.
(Adress moved a while ago).
Otherwise, If it works, I would still prefer the fgcom.hallinger.org test server, so everyone that likes can optionally also test the fgcom-mumble plugin.

@OO ZVY Thanks for planning this trip - we missed you yesterday but thanks to the pre-planning we were able to follow your route ok.

It was quite entertaining to watch everyone (almost everyone) who was in a 182 on the short field landings - they are twitchy but I think we got the hang of them towards the end at Barra. We had a record number of pilots this week, 10 at the start, welcome to those who joined the event and hope you enjoyed it and how you will join next time and do suggest a route if you know a good or interesting (aim for around 1 hr flying)

So, for next week, @Eagle did you say you needed more time to re-model the whole of the Germany topography ;) or are we good to go with your route next week?

Good evening,
crossing the Alps is off course a good idea.
I would like to add as a possible option for the future the 'Iceland volcano tour' : see viewtopic.php?f=19&t=32982&start=30#p389569.

Re-model the whole of the Germany topography ?
No, thanks to the great help of Fahim (I have to thank you again at this place, Fahim !) I got a TerraGear that is working without issues, and I should be able to put the custom scenery on Git until next Wednesday ! :D

Thanks TheEagle!

Do we fly by Wasserkuppe? Important place in soaring history.

So:
- Harz VRF
- Iceland vulcanos
- Alps crossing
over the next weeks?

Add Norway part 1 to the list @YSOP I have a nice little route with a challenge in mind...

@theEagle thanks for the Kilo update - looking forward to the custom scenery, have you modelled a nice big custom nest somewhere on a tree for a soft landing?

 no, just a little dirt runway so that we can land on Mt. Brocken at all ! But a question - the taxiway and apron look like gravel, but the runway looks like sand - they have both the same Dirt material assigned in WED ??? Any fixes ?

This is so weird !!! According to a Ctrl+Alt+Click in the from the UFO, the runway has the material "dirt_rwy" assigned, but the Apron is considered "Default" by the UFO ???
Image+
(Shot taken after Ctrl+Alt+click-ing on the Apron with the UFO) Any Ideas ? I tell, you, both the apron and the runway have the sane material Dirt assigned in WED !!!
