I've went and checked both SID's as I thougt TOBAK8E still exists...

And yes, it does, TOBAK8E and TOBAK9D are two currently existing departures for both RW 07C and 07R. Which means either you already had the latest SID's which isn't the case, as can be seen in your videos, or you did something wrong with updating...

Sorry - I have no idea what you mean and want you try to tell me.
My interest is to make sure Open-Radar and Pilot-Routs are the same - so we can check.
I admit the TOBAK 8E/9D example was not the best - actually both are there now. But if you look closer you will find that those both were 7E/8D before - so the different NUMBERS must still be noticed! So all others: Pls check your SID'S as I suggested!

Quite frankly I do not care what SIDs are used - as long as OR and Pilot use the same, because
1) ATCs do not make FlightPlans - Pilots and Specialists do that
2) I do not care if that SID is flown by a 747 or a Cessna! Each Pilot may test his skills on what route he wants. Anyhow there are only about 5% of the Pilots using STAR/SIDs yet - I hope it will become more. For sure it will not become more if I would enforce every pilot to make detailed FP per Aircraft, TimeOfDay, etc!
3) I see my role in getting our FGFS-pilots to learn some controlled flying so the events can be much more fun to everybody.
- If you want less see http://www.emmerich-j.de/EDDF --> "Mininimum skills"
- If you want more I suggest https://www.vatsim.net/ - they do a very good job on that!

And pls: Anybody finding errors -> pls let me know - that upgrade was the work of more than a week of my free time - so, yes, I am not immune against errors on overtime-work!

I hope we all can try to continue as was, even if there are some changes from time to time

OpenRadar ATIS-problem
Since some time OpenRadar is unable to pull the weather-data via Internet , so ATC cannot provide the usual service (e.g. giving wind, QNH, etc.). Engineering is working on it. In the meantime you may use your FGFS-Model data:
    In the menu-bar (at top of screen)
    select: Environment --> Weather --> see the 3rd block "Metar Data", the most important data are e.g.:
      EDDF 030650Z --> the weather-station-name + date/time of the report (March 3 at 6:50 o'clock Zulu)
      04010KT --> wind from hdg 040 with 10 KTS
      Q0997 --> the QNH
    for details see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/METAR or https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/METAR

Heads up: real-world METAR is also available from, e.g., skyvector.com (enable the METAR layer). If you have flightgear's HTTP server running, the built-in web app also displays METAR, though I haven't figured out how to make it fetch METAR for a different location than the one it decided to look at.

Easiest to just use Environment > Weather to get the real-world METAR, unless you prefer to look up the METAR on another screen / device ;)
Personally I tend to use allmetsat (http://en.allmetsat.com/metar-taf/unite ... ?icao=EGAA).

Right, of course - I tend to fly with a dual-monitor setup, FG on the main monitor, web browser and notes on the side. With this setup, looking up METAR on the secondary screen is more convenient, but if you're doing everything inside FG, the of course the builtin dialog is going to be easier.

Sorry I do not really understand what you mean - but let me try to explain what I wanted to point out in the notes just above the film-table on my
http://www.emmerich-j.de/EDDF/Films/films.html:

Right now there are 2 Sceneries available in Flight-gear:
    The "Standard EDDF-scenery" which everybody usually downloads when installing FGFS from the http://home.flightgear.org/download/scenery/ . Probably everyone has installed that (you find it in your FG-scenery directory, usually in .../flightgear/scenery. That still is very good for people with low capacity PC's.

    Then there is the new GIT-scenery - that is the one you see in my movies. It is much more detailed and also adds additional objects - thus needs more PC-power! To install that see https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT/terraGIT and READ the chapters under "terraGIT" explaining what it is and how to handle it. A few hints from my experiences:
      DO NOT try to merge it with the existing installation! Just put it into any NEW directory (e.g.: GITscenery)! One of the big advantages is, that you always can switch between old/new scenery just by telling FGFS what scenery-directory it should take!

      If you want other contents than those predefined, see the subdirectory e.g. "GITscenery/install". There you find many many predefined download-procedures you can use or construct your own wishes based on that examples.

      If you do not know how to switch the scenery see http://www.emmerich-j.de/HB/EN/Install.html --> "Environment-Variables" etc.
Let us know if you still have problems

Ok thanks for that comprehensive list of help, I was refering to the scenery that you use in your movies, As if I visit EDDF I would rather "see" everything that you "see" and not start running over or through models etc Thanks for that I will try your suggestion(s) now

Hi Jomo,

I notices on Sunday March 25th 2018 there were two jomo7's signed in on Mumble, (one being an idiot) that is a huge problem,
the maintainer of the Mumble server needs to correct this so that the server will not allow two identical users.
Someone can really make a mess of Mumble if this isn't corrected in a hurry.

Yes, we noticed that too and are looking for technical solutions. But it is not easy to let "technical solutions" filter out idiots. Especially if we want to interest youngsters/beginners by having unlimited access! Thus we still try to to avoid access only with LogIn and PWD.
But be sure: There are several people looking for solutions. In addition it would help if more people/youngsters would tell idiots that they are idiots - instead of admiring them for destroying more and more offerings -- especially for youngsters!

Well, since jomo7 is registered, that shouldn't be possible. I guess he put the invisible character in his name or something.

I'm looking into it.

Kind Regards,

invisible character? probably just a different UTF-8 character that looks like its Latin equivalent... we see a lot of similar stuff in URLs where folks don't look close enough to see the difference... for example, an 'o' with a dot under it can be used in place of an 'o' because the link underline will cover the dot... it is called puny-code... we use firefox's config options to enable display of puny-code characters which makes very obvious the differences between the characters...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

IMHO, very good evidence of the Jomo's presence is Concorde parked somewhere at EDDF.

Alt+0160 on Windows @wkitty42
It's an invisible character which is not a space.
