Re: Cessna 208B Grand Caravan

... hangar is working again, I updated this one straight away. I like what I'm seeing, so here are some suggestions to improve them even more. The skydiving configuration is missing relevant details. For one, a cargo net as door is not how that works. Usually it's a slide up door. This is a good ...

Re: Cessna 208B Grand Caravan

Haha, I liked the Skydiving part in particular. Great editing! Will test the aircraft as soon as the default hangar is working again.

Re: Creare's Parachutist

... I would now like to modify the .xml files of your model and adapt it to my project. I have to modify the wingspan of the canopy and transform the skydiving into a box. I don't need the skydiving part. So, would you have some leads to give me to implement my system from yours ? Thank you for the ...

Re: Scottish AI

Sorry I ll have to pass on this one, at least for the time being. It looks like the twin otter is more popular with Skydiving schools than scheduled airlines see http://twinotterspotter.blogspot.com.au/p/dhc-6-operator-directory-e.html I ll give priority to models with larger user ...

Re: New sub-forum suggestion: Skydiving & Parachuting

Looking evenn just at the topics on the forum, it seems that there are at least ~10-12 different people interested in applying FlightGear in a similar way - so may not be such a bad idea to provide a dedicated place for them to discuss their ideas and see if there are any overlapping interests. Rega...

Re: New sub-forum suggestion: Skydiving & Parachuting

As a fortunate coincide, I'm very interested (in a professional way) in a "bird simulator". Nothing as complex as the hang glider ( https://forum.flightgear.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=19772 ) , but more similar to the Somniacs system ( http://www.somniacs.co/ ) Video: https://www.youtube...

Re: New sub-forum suggestion: Skydiving & Parachuting

Re: New sub-forum suggestion: Skydiving & Parachuting

Hmm, I think it might be a bit premature as there only is a (small) handful of sky-diving topics yet.

New sub-forum suggestion: Skydiving & Parachuting

... even Curt himself: http://www.flightgear.org/tours/sky-diving-visualization/ ) - for some additional background, see: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Skydiving Thus, it would make sense to come up with a dedicated sub-forum for skydiving related topics, and move related threads to it - which would ...
