Just off topic a bit.... i got a chance to talk to two commercial pilots.
I wanted to know how similar is TU214/204 vs boeing 757/767

The answer generally was this...
Boeing planes - good close ground control and may seem lighter
Russian's TU214/204, seems heavier but a great difference in terms of smooth flight during cruise and cross winds....
Why? It seems the wing designs and config for both planes are VERY different
In all, if TU214 flies like 757/767 then it is not TU214 and if 757/767 flies like TU214, then it is not 757/767....

I wonder....

Cheers

My apologies...some of you may have seen the TU-214C model without any textures on it (plain white). This is my err...i failed to add the texture files into the package. Now it has been fixed, please feel free to re-download.

Thank you

Hey, you forgot to mention in the aircraft help: Do not maintain full throttle too long or the engines will burst into flames.
Also, the FDM looks weird. How could the plane approach so slowly with such a full fuel load? I recommend you change the fuel load in the approach config to somewhere around 0.2 or 0.3. That's just a guess from flying other planes, and may or may not be within range of the real value. But I am certain, unless you can prove otherwise, that it's far more realistic than 0.8.
Also, I had an issue. I don't know if it was just lag or not, but it seemed the AP dialog wasn't agreeing with the MCP. I had to use both, instead of just one.
Aside from all that, the plane is nicely detailed, and flies pretty nicely.

Yeah, seriously. It was my first flight in that plane too. What's really confusing is that you don't know it happened until you switch to an external view. There is no MASTER CAUTION or ENGINE FAILURE light.

From Tupolev's site http://www.tupolev.ru,
1)The total maximum landing weight of TU-214 is approx 84% of it's maximum weight....
2)Engine bursting into flames? That sounds interesting. I have not experienced that b4..could you please drop me an email explaining on how i can re-simulate the incidence? Like weight? Alt? and so on....

Thanks
Have a gd weekend

But it will be interesting if it can explode anyway :) If i can make it explode, i should include parachutes?
Flames - Red animation (eg when u crash)
Vapour/Contrails- White animations (eg when taking off and cruise)

cheers
