Depends...
Popular locations for FGCom:

SFO -120.50
KBWI (TransGear) -119.7
General Airspace (Worldwide) -122.75
Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

According the wiki, FGCom should come with the Mac version.

You don't need to install fgcom for the mac. Just check the box in the GUI. If you don't have rosseta installed, then you'll need that. But it runs right out of the box.

Ya literally just check the FGCOM box and it will work right then and there. The default is the comps built in mic and I think it automatically detects other mics of any sort.

For me it works using the default mic right out of the box, just start it up along with flightgear and select the correct radio channel :D
Have fun!

Hi Flyman,
Before you click the 'Start Flight' button, go to your Advanced Features in the Mac Launcher by clicking on the little triangle.
Select the 'Others' page.
Click in the Command-line options box.
Type in --com1=122.75
That is the most commonly used radio channel. There needs to be another FG user's aircraft within range (50 nm) for you to hear/talk etc.
Press your space bar to talk.
In the 'Network' page, both 'Enable Multiplay', and 'Enable FGCOM in Multi Player mode' should be ticked/checked.
If you want to check if FGCom is working when you cannot hear anyone else, replace "--com1=122.75" with "910". That is the bounce box. Press your space bar and say something - you should hear your own voice in your speakers/headphones after a very short lag (less than a second).

I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Vic

122.75 is the only channel where you can talk with anyone on FGCom on that frequency, regardless of distance.
