Hi Gooneybird,

Great selection!

Are they GPL licenced? Would be great if yes, then I could use it for the C172p Update I did- the fact that it isn't yet in CVS are lacking interior and missing liveries.

So with your liveries one thing had be done easily!

Previewpic:

Download (Only OSG-CVS- sorry!:
http://www.hoerbird.net/c172p.zip

Features:
Accurate modelling of exterior (now correct dimensions), shaded exterior, livery selection and immatriculation over mp, glasshader with fresneleffect(2008/09/25)
To-Do: Liveries, interior with 3D-Panel and instruments, missing animation of gear, lighting

Thanks HHS
I'm not sure about the GPL, all the graphics are my own work, the only things that are not are some of the fonts (I'm never to sure about the GPL situation regarding fonts).

You are very welcome to use them if they are acceptable.

That's a great update, it's a shame I'm using V1.0 :(

It should be now problem, because the main fonts are used by FGFS anyway, so it should be no problem regarding licnence. I will use them, so maybe we will have that bird with the next release....

Thanks HHS, I look forward to that.

I tried to get a mix of liveries from different countries but if you want any more, or a particular livery just ask.

Hi,

Due to the fact, that the "old" c172p was not correct in dimensions, I coulden't really use your liveries.... There was only one - the irish one, who was fitting.

The new c172p has a highly chance to get into the base package of FlightGear 1.9.0 around Christmas - so if you want you can download it. There is a default-texture in it, which can be uses as template too. So maybe you want to make some nice liveries.
For using it in 1.0.0 just convert the .png-textures and comment out the glass-Shader.

I had a feeling that would happen when I had a look at you new model, at least you got something from them.

I've downloaded the file and had a quick look, it seems there should not be a problem doing some liveries once I have worked out where each section goes, I will get back to you if I have any problems.

Do want me to limit the liveries to the 172P or will you accept any 172 model :?:

No, I don't see any problem. Or do you mean the aircraft itself?

How many you want to do? At least it would be great if the liveries would be in Real Life present!

I can do as many as you want, as long as its not the entire 172 production list

I will stick to real aircraft then, all of the above are real aircraft (apart from Fire Control and FGFS News) but not all 172p's (ie. N4456R is an M and G-BOIX is an N) , if you want me to stick to just 172p's I can.

They will be a mix from different countries as before, if there any particular country/livery you would like just let me know.

Makes no different, if c172p, s or m- when I find some time, I will also do the other ones, so I can reorganize them later

Different mix would be cool, I think there is one livery I really like to see ( and not only me;-)): http://foxtrot.mgras.net/bitmap/FGFS/DEEQA-LFLV02.jpg and http://foxtrot.mgras.net/bitmap/FGFS/DEEQA-EDNY.jpg.

Thanks so much for your help! :D

Hi guys,

it's ok now, I've downloaded an hour ago and I can see the plane again.

But also I have an idea of a livery for the c172p. The problem is, the original livery I think of was on a c172b. Don't know the differences of the b- and the p-model, so I don't know if the fg-community would like it anyway. The livery I am talking about is D-ECJB. Just search for it on the web, I am very sure you'll find some information about it and why I am thinking of this one. Even if it looks not very spectacular...
