Magnificent Men & Microlights!

Great seat of the pants flying! Story follows three microlight crews and their adventures in the Round Britain Contest.
Put your feet up and hope you enjoy. Stuart will no doubt have seen this!

Much better! Connect,
BBC seem to have got the hang of video making. Put it on Youtube for ex-RAF buddy in Queensland. Much better viewed in full HD on IPlayer of course. BBC plan to expand IPlayer overseas........eventually!
Dunno (Y)!

EDIT: Now when I've seen both parts I have to say that it really was an interesting and nice documentary. I also have to congratulate Anthony for that great landing, just a minute off time even. :D

Yes, it's a great documentary :)

There's some consternation within the aviation community (both GA and microlights) that this gives microlighting a bad name (engines that fail, in-flight refuelling from a jerry can etc. etc.).

IMO film makers are always going to look for the "characters" and interesting events at the edges of any subject. Frankly a programme about normal microlighting would be pretty, but dull.

Very true! :| The same generally goes for journalists, but one step further...
