^ A similar thing happened at SFO with a 757 and a CRJ, I could only find an image of the tail damage.

Gotta love those awesome Northwest pilots  (Yes, that image is from Failblog)

The pilots were both injured, actually. The DC-9 had a hydraulic failure and, after landing, lost control of their steering. One can only imagine if they didn't put the plane down in time... :\

That, I am not aware of.

However, I am aware that the DC-9 suffered damage to the windshield (and cockpit for that matter) and the A319's wing got damaged.

Ah I see, I automatically assumed it was a low-speed taxiing accident, caused by bad weather conditions not being judged properly or something. The pilot can keep his license, in this case ;).

I came across a humorous one — this is what Air Koryo pilots do to put out fires on their planes!

Who needs a fire apparatus when the cabin crew can just pull off their jackets and do it themselves! :D

In the recent spirit of planes running into things...

Image

RwandAir Flight 205 (operated by JetLink)had a throttle problem and didn't slow down and stay in place after landing, and ended up crashing into a building. All the water all over the place was for putting out a small fire that came up.

Geez, guys, can't we give the Cessnas some privacy around here? It's embarrassing to them!

Although, I suppose the same should be said about the DC-9 and A319.

I'd rather not see the result of a crossing between a DC-9 and an A319.

Now that one was hilarious
Those pilots need to learn that the Tu-154B is fitted with thrust reversers, so they don't have to hit the brakes so hard.
