Hi Gijs, thanks for joining in.
Don't place your TerraSync scenery inside data/ btw, you don't want to loose all your scenery when you update to a newer FlightGear version.
Mac's Scenery-TerraSync folder has always been kept in data. That has always been the default on each new version of the Mac downloads from Tat.
Unfortunately, it seems Tat has not been able to sort the Mac version this time (Version 2.8.) and I guess those who have issued 2.8.1 r276 haven't covered the same things Tat always does for us Mac users. I think they must be assuming we know how to do builds and paths etc, which Tat sorts out for us before he issues the new version. Normally, all we have to do is download the new version and we start straight from the box. Paths are written in and we don't have to juggle existing files/folders/directories and paths to get it to work.
I know we are spoiled by Tat, but we are really struggling without his input. By that please don't think I am criticising those who have been working towards a stable Mac version. I am sure I speak for all Mac users when I offer thanks to all involved.
Cheers,
Vic
