Will not start. "No internationalization settings specified"

OS: OSX 10.6.8
FG: 2.6.0
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M

Hi there. I'm fairly new to FlightGear and I'm getting an issue every time I try to launch a flight. Once I click the Start Flight Button nothing happens. The log simply spits out this:
Code: Select all
config file not found:Location"
Error reading properties:
Failed to open file
 at preferences.xml
No internationalization settings specified in preferences.xml
Config option parsing failed ...

As I understand it, the error message says that FG can't find the config files and that a bit is missing from the one it can find.
I've tried a fresh install straight out of the .dmg and I still get this error. Is there a fix?

Hi Shiar

Maybe you had an older MacFlightGear installed and there is an old preferences file in your ~/Library/Preferences? Have a look in your Library/Preferences folder and search for files have 'macflightgear' or 'flightgear' in name. Remove this files and try again. Your osx and graphics card version supports FlightGear very well so it's worth to try :D

Thanks gral!
All I had to do was remove all the old folders. Solved it in one!
