New Virtual Airline Logo Concept Poll

PS: I've thought about this, but how about either using Concepts 3 or 5 as the main logo, then Armchair's (6) as a promo logo (old-school style )

I took another crack on a logo yesterday. It was a plane flying out of a book. But it was too complex.

Nice idea Kyo! - One question : Option 5? - That has no votes for it...

But about your idea for option 6. How about having a "heritage" livery for special occasions? - Quantas were thinking about (but haven(t decided about) buying back an old 707 and repainting it into it's old quantas colours, and flying it around as a "living museum piece" for air shows etc.

Hows that for an idea for this VA? - Someone (Gooneybird would probably do a sterling piece of work) cooking up a retro livery complete with concept 6 in it, and we plaster that onto a DC-6?

I see -also use the former VAs agreeing to merge as a Heritage plane?

Actually, I think that's a great idea. Have occasional airshows at venues throughout the world with one plane present from each of the (now-defunct) participating VA's that gave way to make Atlas Virtual Airlines. A good way to keep history alive and to show what we've managed to accomplish here in working together.

Also, for the livery, we should just use the livery Liam suggested (with color change to match the logo).



For simplicity, it'd be nice to go with Liam's design. Then we wouldn't have to make a separate poll for livery, and I think Liam's design is really good (simple and bold).

Oh I intended that to just be a simple example because I didn't want to paint an aircraft rather than quickly paint it onto the side profile. I will make a few more designs similarly, although I prefer the colour to be at the nose end of the fuselage, as well as stabiliser. Not so much the rear fuselage however. My favourite real life livery is probably tui old colours (yellow) which is why I made Euroair similar yellow.
