Thanks- another great livery!

Do you have the .xcf- files for all those great liveries? Would be great we could add this to the aircraft.
I will go on this weekend with the c172, so we could add this then, so everybody can make their own livery too!

Cheers

All these liveries were done in Inkscape so I don't have xcf files, I do have the Gimp so I'll see what I can do.

Thought I would fly around another bridge for a change.

I see you have removed the static aircraft at KBWI, have you altered the Ground network file :?:

Is this the sort of thing you want.

It's just the wing layers for now, if it's OK I'll do the tail and fuselage the same.

Gimp 2.6.2 has the option to open into layers so it's fairly simple to do, just save each layer in Inkscape as a separate image then open them into layers in Gimp.

Yes, That was the thing.

I really appreciate your work! With this set it will be easier for people to paint the airctafts.

Here are the xcf files for the C172

I may do some more C172 liveries at a later date, if I see any that catch my eye  .

Continued off-topic (LOL)... umm, I think those might have been removed by Martin when I submitted the whole package to the main database. If not, I might have removed them prior to submission in order to test the groundnetwork and AI stuff you sent me. That was months ago; surely you can't expect me to remember things that long...?? :) :) :)

D-ECJB

Postby FlugHund » Sun Apr 21, 2013 11:31 pm

Eventually the D-ECJB livery (set) was released today! D-ECJB is available at the Livery Database.
Image
The C172p "D-ECJB" was used by Mathias Rust to land next to the Red Square in Moscow.

The set, which contains the D-ECJB as well as a second livery, which is based on the D-ECJB's but features the c172p's immatriculation and displays the pilot's multiplayer callsign, is available on the author's website. There you'll also find some info about the liveries and some links to the real life plane and its history.

A big "thank you" goes to Brett for helping me and trial flying it!
See you in MOCKBá!
