Just tried to land in SBSP. It seems to have serious scenery problems. Notice the framerate.

That's odd as my terrain for Sao Paulo isn't effected like this. :?

Mine is neither.
I believe this psadro corrected, by changing some core-code in simgear. Which means, currently really depend on what version of FG you've got installed.
Again, this is my heart beat, because I have no more information except that it works good for me here.

This problem is in earlier versions, I remember that used the FG3.0 and this problem existed, but now in version I'm using (FG3.4.1) this scenerie SBSP is working fine, no problems

Sure :)
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

I've found a good airport for the SantosDumont 14Biz contest.

Resende at SDRS has a main advantage is it's fairly flat, but if you have AW turned on the airmass around it can be somewhat turbulent. Which is an excellent ( ) factor to add to flying this, the most arbitrary of FG aircraft to attempt aviation in.

Hints on flying it? Heck I have a hard time going a mile with it, seems using the rudder to the exclusion of the ailerons might work. You'll eventually spin in uncontrollably.

No rules, just use Helijah's Hangar's latest version, and try to go as far as possible

Hey guys, really excited for this! I don't have a suitable microphone yet (I "upgraded" to a machine with a darned combi jack...), are we allowed to use text in Flightgear's chatbox to communicate with ATCs?

Yes. FGChat is a valid way to contact the ATCs as well

Other controlled position for Brazil

Ambro is currently controlling Porto-Alegre :D

(That's an "Alegre" event indeed)

4 N-miles over the town of Resende in the 14biz before it became too uncontrollable.

I'm in
I will be ATCing for the next few hours, but when I get an empty time, I will show you 6 miles.

Well my intent is to try and make it all the way to Rio but if I can even get 40 miles it's all good. It's tricky and counter intuitive

Other voices of Brazil. I discovered Daniella from my sister, really like her fusion of Bahia Samba and Reggae.
