This is a historical nitpick: 1960 is a completely unrealistic date. For one thing, Intruders weren't in service until 1963.

In 1960, the US involvement in Indochina was very small, rating only occasional mention in the press. Any time around 1968, give or take a couple years would be more believable.
This is a family-friendly saloon. No talk stink.

How does 17:00 UTC sound? That's 10:00 AM for me, I'm willing to go as early as 7:00 AM if need be.

Just in case somebody wonders why I did not respond to a chopper event- we will be out on a trip tomorrow. Therefore I will most probably not be able to participate.
So I whish you lots of fun.

Hi Jack, Hi Guys
Definitively not sure to be there, still dunno what is my program for saturday ...depends of the weather and my wife :)
but i ll do my best.
16 UTC would be fine but if not possible 17 UTC will let me around 1 hours (a little less indeed) to participate. Thus if 17 UTC is the final time selected , please guys be sharp if you can.
Cheers
Pat

Don't worry, I didn't sleep in too long this time.(surprisingly) :D

Now, a few reminders:

• If you aren't comfortable flying a helicopter(or just don't want to), you can always fly the A-1H Skyraider or O-2 Skymaster included in the download package :!:

• Everybody is to meet at VVVH. Planes will take off there, and helicopters will fly out to the Big E to pick up weapons and recon photos before the search starts.

• Use of FGCom is suggested if possible, but we can type out anything important if you can't get it working.

• If you do happen to crash, notify me(callsign: Alpha-J) and I will give you the nearest airfield to respawn at.

Oh yeah, and another one:

• Have fun! :D

This is disappointing...

3 people have managed to show up, and there are people saying they would come who are flying online in different places! :o
